Background Information
I am a work at home mom. This is a tough but rewarding role that I’ve chosen. It is who I was meant to be. I was never going to be the stay at home mom that my husband or I may have wanted at one time. I needed to have an outlet for the thousands of ideas that plague me every day.
I never knew I was an entrepreneur. I just thought I was destined to be miserable at a day job that I sometimes loved but mostly hated. And then be a stay at home mom when I had kids. That’s not how I was raised but it’s what I thought I wanted.
Well, let’s just say that’s not how my brain works. I was jonesing to go back to work after my 12 weeks off.
It’s not that I loved my job but I needed to get out. I needed to stimulate my brain. But along with me going back to work came the dreaded mom-guilt that we all are very familiar with.
That mom-guilt got even worse when I started my own biz and I felt like I was half-assing mommyhood,
Finally, after a boatload of personal development, I came to terms with the reality that life isn’t the perfect Instagram curated feed that we all see.
And I made it my mission to banish mom-guilt. Mom’s you are enough! You are doing an amazing job raising your kids and your business.
But you can’t do it all. At least not on your own.
I’d love to be a guest on your show and provide practical advice on becoming a more resilient mom and biz
