5 Things I’m Afraid to Tell You! ?

I can’t believe that I’m doing this but in the spirit of Jess Lively, Jenna Kutcher and Amy Porterfield I’m just gonna do it.

eeeeekkkkk. I have a knot in my stomach just typing this.

I’m sure you have things that you are afraid to tell other or that you’ll feel embarrassed about if people actually knew about them.

For me, it’s a little different.  I’m good about being an open book usually but these are 5 things that most people don’t know about me.

I hope you still like me after reading or listening to this.  I’m human just like you and I’m working to improve every day

1) Workaholic – I love Mondays

  • Sometimes I love working more than other things like dealing with the kids or hubby or house stuff.  Let’s be honest, screaming kids, hubby, or laundry or making dinner isn’t exactly fun stuff.
  • I’m a data junkie & strategy junky so I can get lost in work forever and be happy.

2) I have body image issues like crazy

  • I’m have tried every single diet, exercise program, and every single gimmick.
  • In college, I used to be extremely restrictive and used to purge after binges it was an ugly cycle.  I don’t do that anymore and haven’t in 15 years or so.
  • I spend a crapload of hours each week thinking about my weight, what I’m going to eat what I will do for exercise.
  • I hide from pictures because I don’t like the way that I look.  Especially my arms, neck, and chin.
  • I have so much negative self-talk about this it’s ridiculous. And I am working on changing that but it’s sooooo hard.
  • I actually just started a new 6-week course that should help me with all of the mental stuff around my issues.

3)  I had a hysterectomy and a tummy tuck

  • I had the hysterectomy because I had 7 cysts, 2 fibroids, my uterus was doubled in size and it adhered to my bladder.  Fun stuff right.  Plus it was causing after birth like bleeding that was uncontrollable for over 28 days straight.  So it was needed.
  • I’m on bioidentical estrogen and testosterone every single day of my life.
  • And I still don’t have the body that I want

4)  I can a chronic procrastinator  

  • I’m a productive procrastinator and I turn into a bitch when I need to keep my head down finally get it done.  You know, when I’ve known about the deadline for forever but I just decided to actually work on it. So I’m bitchy…especially to Bin (my poor hubby).
  • I’m like that because I do some of my best work under pressure but it’s not fair to anyone.

5)  I am a closet woo-woo person

  • Tapping
  • Crystals
  • Meditation
  • Energy healing
  • Law of attraction mindset stuff
